Volunteering
We have a wonderful team of volunteers who get involved across all of our work, from helping with youth clubs to joining in with detached youth work to running sports and music sessions.
Many of the volunteers haven't had much experience of working with young people prior to getting involved, but they all have a desire to offer support and encouragement to the young people with whom they engage.
Use our contact form to get in touch if you are interested in volunteering or have any questions.
Through Romsey Mill, we are also able to offer the opportunity to work toward an accredited Level 2 or Level 3 course in Youth Work Principles/Practice at a subsidised cost, and we are delighted that several of our volunteers are accredited at Level 2. You can find out more details about the courses on the Romsey Mill website here.
"Volunteering is challenging but extremely rewarding to be able to make a positive difference in the life of a young person, such as by helping them to discover a new skill.”
